Working Principle
The integrated sewage treatment equipment operates based on Biological Contact Oxidation (BCO) or activated sludge process principles. Sewage first passes through mechanical bar screens to remove larger suspended solids and floating debris, then enters an equalization tank for flow and quality balancing. The pre-treated sewage then flows into the biological treatment unit, where microorganisms attach to the biological carrier media to form a biofilm under aeration conditions. Through aerobic metabolic processes, organic pollutants in the sewage are decomposed into carbon dioxide and water. The biologically treated sewage flows into a sedimentation tank where activated sludge separates from the treated water. The clarified water passes through a disinfection unit (typically ultraviolet or sodium hypochlorite disinfection) to eliminate pathogenic microorganisms before compliant discharge. The settled sludge is partially recycled to the biological tank to maintain system sludge concentration, with excess sludge periodically removed for further treatment. The entire treatment process can be fully automated, equipped with PLC control systems and remote monitoring capabilities.
